The Hungarian parliamentary
elections will take place in April 2026. During this important democratic process, more than 8 million Hungarian citizens will elect
new representatives for the Hungarian Parliament, who will later take part in forming
the next government.
Elections influence Hungary’s political direction, public policies, international relations, and everyday life. For many learners, international residents, and future citizens, understanding how the election system works can be challenging because of language barriers and complex political terminology.
Our project aims to make the Hungarian elections more accessible, understandable, and transparent through continuous learning content, clear explanations, and practical language support.
In the months leading up to the elections, we
regularly share educational content on our social media platforms. By following us, you can learn:

In addition to our regular online content, we organize
free educational webinars before the elections. These webinars offer participants the opportunity to explore the topics in more depth, ask questions, and interact with instructors.
The webinars are one important way to learn, but they are part of a wider learning system that includes social media posts, vocabulary series, and educational resources.
Language Levels and Webinar Types
To support learners with different backgrounds, our webinars are offered at two levels:
English-speaking Webinar
For participants who do not speak Hungarian or speak only at a basic level. The main information is explained in English, with key Hungarian vocabulary.
Hungarian-speaking Webinar
For learners with at least a strong A2 or weak B1 level. The content is presented in simplified Hungarian, with English explanations of important expressions.
Our learning project is designed for anyone who:
- wants to better understand what is happening in Hungary
- is preparing for the Hungarian cultural knowledge exam
- is preparing for the citizenship exam
- is interested in politics and public life
- wants to improve their Hungarian vocabulary
No advanced political knowledge is required.
All materials are created for learners and curious citizens.
